& Giving
We are receiving expressions of gratitude for our
special contributions.
A letter from
The Heifer Project
thanks us
for the goat that fights poverty and hunger every day
for her family.
Stand Up for
Kids
thanks us for the special collection that is helping to
feed nutritious snacks to 150 kids everyday, and for the
sleeping bags and sweaters keeping them warm.
Everyday acts of
kindness, yet so appreciated. Check out the letters on
the stewardship bulletin board.
We are also
brainstorming more large and small ways to help the
church to balance the budget.
Sponsoring
consumables and expenses are additional ways of giving.
Consumables that
need constant replenishing are:
Juice
and crackers
Small paper plates, napkins and 3 oz paper cups for
coffee hour
Paper
towels
Small and large garbage bags
Dishwasher soap (liquid or gel) for the kitchen
Toilet paper
Single-fold paper hand towels and liquid soap for
the bathrooms
Stamps
Assorted pastel 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper for the office
White dripless taper candles
Light bulbs
(check with
Aiya in the office for specifics on any of these)
Possible
sponsorships include:
Piano
tuning
Carpet cleaning
Thermostat replacement
Coffee for a month.
