Stewardship...
On Sunday, November 19, we will do
something quite different during our worship service.
We will ask you to spend the church’s money…
Well, not quite. On the 19th you will be
given a stack of money (it's fake, sorry) to spend on
the ministries of the church you feel are most
important. This stack of money will include one $100,
five $50s and six $20s. The $100 represents your
highest priority. You can allocate the balance
according to what you feel is important. We will count
the money in each basket during the service and note the
number of $100s and the total amount in each basket.
This is not a scientific process, but a
way for us all to be involved in expressing what is most
important in our church. The conversations and the fun
we have are the essential part of the event.
During the service the youth will present
a power point of the ministries of the church and each
basket will have photos attached to indicate what
happens in those ministries. One of the things that
becomes evident is just how much this church does.
Below is a list of the baskets, the ministries, where
you will be able to spend your money. Under each one
are some examples to clarify each category. Please
consider which ministries are most important, so your
voice can be heard.
Thank you,
Stewardship
