Mystery Pet
Hi,
my name is "Garbey" the Cockatiel.
I don't know how old I am... but my owner
thinks I'm an older bird. I was abandoned a few years
ago and, lucky for me, a dear man took me in for a
couple of weeks until I could be adopted. However, he
fell in love with me, and now he's my new owner. I love
my new home. I get to be free inside the house most of
the time and follow my owner every where he goes...
usually walking behind him. My favorite thing is
sitting on my owner's feet while he's relaxing in his
big lounge chair. It's a nice warm spot and I can peck
his socks and chatter or whistle. I have a really
good wolf whistle! When my owner goes
on long trips to Oregon, I get to go along..... walking
and flying around the van. It's great fun!!
My owner has been a member of this church
for many years. He's a busy man giving folks rides to
church, visiting folks who need help or helping out
during worship. He is a member of Called to Care as
well as the Medicine Wheel Otter Clan. Can you guess
who my owner is??
