The Last Santasmas
 

On Christmas Eve, the kids and youth performed “The Last Santasmas,” a play contrasting the gift making/buying frenzy of the Christmas season and the true meaning of Christmas; the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

On the one side you see Santa’s Elves busily making presents for all those good little boys and girls while, on the other side, the story of the birth of Jesus unfolds.
 

The story ends with the elves gathering around the Christ child along with all the angels, wise men, shepherds, and all the animals (even including a rattlesnake!).
