December: No meeting this month
Saturday,
January 8, 2005: "The Good Earth," by Pearl Buck. Meeting
will be at 5 pm at Bev Staaden's home and will include a Chinese Potluck.
The group decided to read a classic for this month. This one is on
Oprah's book club list and is available in paperback at Costco. Also,
the meeting will be on a Saturday for those who have difficulty getting to
night meetings during the week. Please join us for a great discussion
and delicious food!
Wednesday,
February 23, 2005: "Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism:
A Bishop Rethinks the Meaning of Scripture." Meeting will be at Bev
Staaden's home at 7 pm.
