Kids & Youth Halloween Party

This October, Halloween happened to fall on a Sunday.  So, in a festive mood, on Sunday October 31st, we all attended worship service, to be followed by a Halloween party for the kids and youth.  Some brave souls wore their costumes to the worship service, to the amusement and merriment of all, but most brought their costumes along and changed after the service.

The costumes included ninjas, witches, Thomas the Tank Engine, bride of Dracula, and many others that you would be hard-pressed to know exactly what they were supposed to be unless the person explained it.

But the end result was good food, good company, and games.  Games like eating-a-donut-on-a-string contest.  Even Reverend Thresher participated in the eating-a-donut-on-a-string contest, but he lost miserably to his youth competitors.  I think it was a setup!
